Olive oil, honey, wines … discover the Provencal flavors of the region!

Fans of olive oil will be thrilled visiting the famous “Moulin à huile” (olive mill) next to La Crau, at La Farlède (after Hyères), some 34 km from Le Lavandou. The gourmets will take the road to the frozen chesnuts factory at Collobrières, 25km above Bormes- Les – Mimosas, while others will have the pleasure to discover the beauty of the Verne Monastery, with its great view of the bay and the Mediterranean Sea.

In St Clair, close to Le Lavandou, a beekeeper will open its doors for a visit of its honey farm. The apiary is behind the school, a road called “chemin des abeilles” (bees trail), it’s indicated! The honey is wonderful, and on request, a tasty degustation can be organised.
There’s a shop at your disposal. It’s open all year.

The wine amateurs will be able to, walking from the hotel, visit the Domaine de l’Anglade, to discover and taste the Lavandou wine, and come back with a few bottles!
